The Natal Family offers a range of classes and workshops, tailored specifically for mums and dads, so you can choose an antenatal or postnatal class which really meets your needs. Our main programmes currently include:
DaddyNatal is a men–only workshop where dads learn how to support their partner through the birth of their baby. Classes are run by professional male antenatal educators who are all dads themselves creating a relaxed and informal environment. Dads will learn how to be the best birth partner & dad they can, alongside other dads who are in exactly the same boat! Sessions are down to earth—no medical jargon, just practical tips and techniques for birth and beyond. Childbirth can be daunting for men too, and DaddyNatal prepares them for their specific role.
Our DaddyNatal New Dads classes bring together dads and their babies, teaching dads how they can use developmental baby massage to support their baby’s natural development and help with colic, colds and bonding. Classes are led by male teachers for a dad and baby only environment.

An unique antenatal & postnatal education programme – BabyNatal is totally unbiased, not advocating any particular parenting style. Through our range of antenatal, first aid and developmental baby massage classes, we empower parents to discover what works best for them and their baby, providing education around possible techniques and safety advice, and empowering parents to have the confidence to make their own choices!
Our range of workshops & groups will support you through pregnancy and those first precious weeks and months. Whether you are pregnant and want to prepare for life with a newborn, a new parent who is struggling with colic, want to learn more about the sleep patterns of your little one, or you just want to meet other people in a class which is truly inclusive, friendly and non-judgmental, we have something for you. Our workshops are perfect for everyone, and parents who will be birthing by planned C-Section, a BabyNatal class will allow you to focus your antenatal preparation on learning about your newborn.

MummyNatal is an empowering birth programme, completely inline with all The Natal Family core ethics and ethos— promoting informed choice, non-judgmental & unbiased education. In a nutshell, MummyNatal doesn’t teach the right or wrong way, just finding your own way!
This means rather than teaching specific techniques to use in labour at certain points, or teaching the way that labour ‘should’ be, MummyNatal supports mums-to-be to tune into what their birth experience is, focusing simply on the present moment (not thinking ahead to even the next contraction) and finding confidence and acceptance. Weekly classes include mindful meditation exercises each week, breathing practice (we don’t teach lots of breathing ‘techniques’), birth ball exercise (a favourite in classes with mums – so practical, yet can be as relaxing or upbeat as required!) exercises for encouraging baby into optimum position for birth, managing intense sensation exercises, birth physiology and birth choices education.
What is unique about MummyNatal is that it is designed to encourage women to trust themselves and listen to what they need to do, as every birth is individual. Women can feel that they have ‘failed’ if their birth was not a quiet serene birth, if they didn’t use a specific technique which they had been taught, or if they didn’t have a specific birth outcome. Every birth is individual and MummyNatal Practitioners help demystify the process and options, build mums’ confidence and help them find their own way.
