The ExCeL Baby Show is coming up, and if you’re going, don’t miss out on a great opportunity to visit The Natal Family stand…
We have some fantastic products for sale!
First things first, you’ll get an opportunity to grab a copy of The Expectant Dad’s Handbook, by our own Dean Beaumont, co-founder, with his wife Steph, of The Natal Family and all its programmes. Stop and talk to us, and you may catch Dean on the stand, in between speaking on the main stage and teaching DaddyNatal classes in our beautiful classrooms – why not ask Dean to sign a copy of his book for you or for that special dad-to-be in your life?
On our stand, you’ll get a chance to browse through a range of beautiful Frugi products – we have a great selection of cute babygrows, tops, trousers, dresses, hoodies, bibs, dungarees and even baby gift sets!
Through our partnership with Boba, who have come on board to support our BabyNatal programme, we have some fantastic deals on the Boba 4G organic carrier as well as the snuggly Boba stretchy wrap. Our teachers can talk you through the benefits of both and show you how to use them with our very own weighed (and very realistic) baby dolls.
We will also be selling some beautiful large muslins, ideal for swaddling or burping and a range of re-usable nappies – gNappies pants and accessories as well as Frugi and Bambino Mio all-in-one nappies with beautiful prints.
Don’t miss out on an opportunity to grab yourself a deal!
Our fantastic classes
On the day, our teachers will also be running a range of classes from our dedicated classrooms. These are only 45 minutes long to allow you to make the most of your day on the Show, but if you would like more information or would like to take the full version of any of the classes, ask at the stand or check on our websites (MummyNatal and BabyNatal) to find your nearest Natal teacher, and you can book yourself onto a longer, private or group workshop, depending on what suits you the most.
You can book classes in advance with your tickets for The Baby Show or book them directly with us on the day, provided we still have spaces! So hurry, as available spaces are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis!
So which Natal classes will be available?
BabyNatal Practical Baby Care classes – a very hands-on class, looking at nappy changing, clothing for baby, bathing and top and tailing and lots more!
BabyNatal Sleep classes – a fantastic insight into the world of newborn and baby sleep, with up-to-date sleep safety recommendations and a look at different options around your baby’s sleep.
BabyNatal Colic and Calming classes – a useful workshop designed for parents to help them learn techniques to deal with colic, reflux, constipation, wind and excessive crying.
MummyNatal classes – one for expectant mummies only, this is a perfect session for mums-to-be to take a little time out from the busy Show and practicing some amazing relaxation techniques to use in pregnancy, birth and life!
DaddyNatal classes – whilst mum is relaxing at a MummyNatal class, why not take a DaddyNatal class? Taught by our very own Dean Beaumont, co-founder of The Natal Family and the pioneering DaddyNatal programme, this is a unique opportunity for dads-to-be to learn how to support their partner through pregnancy and the birth of your baby!
Natal Birth workshop – this fantastic class ensures that both parents learn the essentials for their big day – preparing both mum and dad so they can be more effective and confident, through learning practical skills and tools for their role, including what to do if things don’t go to plan.
Meet Dean Beaumont and some of our great Natal teachers!
The Natal Family co-founder Dean Beaumont will also be at the stand (when not presenting on the main stage or teaching classes to the lucky dads who managed to secure a place at the sought-after, unique DaddyNatal classes). If you see him at the stand with his black DaddyNatal t-shirt, go and say hello! He might be a very busy published author and industry expert, but will be thrilled to have the opportunity to speak to any new or expectant parents!
Last but not least, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of our fantastic teachers, coming from all over the country.
So in no particular order wave hello to…
Jenni Warbrick, who teaches in the Leeds and Airedale areas. Jenni is both a BabyNatal AND MummyNatal teacher who is very passionate about First Aid (Paediatric and beyond!). Make sure you stop by and talk to Jenni about what The Natal Family has to offer!
Amanda Bryant – another fantastic teacher from the North (Otley, Ikley and North Leeds) who teaches all the programmes that The Natal Family has to offer! If you’re going on the Saturday or Sunday, don’t miss a chance to talk to Amanda – she has many years of experience as an antenatal educator!
Sharon Hardiman – all the way from Salisbury and Warminster, Sharon also offers both BabyNatal and MummyNatal classes. Ask Sharon about our products in the shop and about babies and family pets. She has a wealth of advice when it comes to helping introducing your new baby to your most loved pet!
Suzy Hancock – teaching in Warrington, Suzy is also a BabyNatal and MummyNatal teacher and a new mum, having just welcomed her third boy to the world a few weeks ago! Baby Jaxon will be ‘working’ with his mummy snuggled up in a wrap, so your challenge for the day will be to spot the real baby!
Laura Mayor – the most ‘local’ teacher to the ExCeL, Laura teaches around Thurrock and Romford. She is another fantastic Natal teacher who can offer both BabyNatal and MummyNatal courses. So if you’re going, don’t forget to ask Laura about stretchy wraps, reusable nappies and any classes she has planned for the near future!
Rachel Harrington – mum-of-two BabyNatal and MummyNatal teacher Rachel offers classes in Milton Keynes and Buckingham. Rachel has huge experience with babies, thanks to her background working as a nanny and maternity nurse in London and other parts of Europe and America. No one knows better than Rachel that no two babies are the same and as a parent, you need to find a way that works for you!
Zoe Cutler – both a BabyNatal and a MummyNatal teacher, new mum Zoe offers classes in the Birmingham area. If you’re going on the Saturday, don’t forget to say hello to Zoe. She’s most passionate about sharing her experiences of parenthood with other families to equip them with the tools to cope with the ‘what next?’ after the birth!
So have fun at The Baby Show and don’t forget to share your photos and experiences of the day with us on social media!
